Few things I want you to get from me
If you don’t learn anything else from me I want you to get the following.
1. Investing in yourself is the best thing you can do. This can be achieved by- reading books, taking courses, attending seminars etc.
2. People are saying that going to college is the worst thing you can do. FALSE - The worst thing you can do is attend college without having any idea of why you’re there. College is a tool, demonizing people for choosing college is not okay. But this tool can become a bad investment if you don’t use it for the ecosystem of opportunities. You have to network, attend conferences, get internships and have to remove the mindset that making All A’s is what will make you successful. On average I was a “C” student but my hustle and network always been worth billions. I’ve seen the smartest people not receive the full benefits of college because it was never about the grades it was about the people and what you learn from them! @pvamu Was the best 1st investment I made in myself!
3. You are a student forever. Once you graduate college now the real rat race begins of managing finances, getting out of student loan debt, investing in real e-state, learning how to maintain friendships and relationships while working towards your goals, CHOOSING to have faith while life is going good and when life shifts in a direction you didn’t plan.
4. People are the most valuable asset on this earth! Don’t burn a bridge that can cost you millions in the future. Some of y’all are hurting the very people God sent to help you because of jealousy and comparison.
Lastly, if you read all this you’re probably one of the few people that actually get it. You understand that reading is a skill. Short attention spans and instant gratification will never win in the long run. Investing in yourself and others will always win. Positivity will win and this is just another archive of legacy I’ll leave behind for my future kids and family to read because life is short but information is long.
