Everyone has their own lane in life to run. Focus on your own race, there’s less traffic and no speed limit.

This weekend I went bike riding and the hardest part was riding up the hill. It felt like I would never going to get to the top. My feet and legs were telling me to go sit down somewhere 😂. Let’s just say ya girl was struggling for air and for strength.

But as I looked to the right and left of me people were soaring on their bike while making it look so easy. At that very moment, I had to catch myself from comparing my lane to those around me I had to focus on “my lane”. It taught me that the only person I should be competing with is myself not only in this particular bike scenario but also in life. I know that social media will have you thinking you’re behind or you chose the wrong path but let me be this gentle reminder that you are exactly where you need to be.

I will repeat: “You, the person reading this, is exactly where you are supposed to be.” God is preparing you for your next season. I know for sure he’s preparing me. It hasn’t been pretty or easy! His plans are far greater than any plan we could ever envision for our life so let’s choose today to have more patience and trust in him like never before. God gives us the grace to not only run our race but to amplify our efforts when we put some work behind the Faith we have.

I want you to know that I’m walking by Faith with you. Everyday when you see my feet walking it should remind you that we are in this together.
